All TEV scooters are covered with one year comprehensive warranty from the time of delivery.
This warranty covers all labour costs and any manufacturer's defects of all parts up to one year to original owner. TEV comprehensive warranty does NOT cover any damages by misuse or abuse, lack of maintenance or accident. Tire, tubes and brake pad are not covered by TEV comprehensive warranty.
Original battery is covered by six months (Lithium battery is covered by 1 year) on condition of that battery have been maintained as instructed.
PDI (Pre delievery inspection):
TEV Comprehensive Warranty is covered by the Pre-Delivery Inspection and Assembly Charge (PDI is $100 per E-bike). If PDI is not taken then there is no Standard Comprehensive Warranty Coverage. A three months Parts Warranty will be included. Allow for a minimum of 24 hours for PDI/Assembly, at which time test and trial runs are conducted on the products to ensure all systems are safe and operable. Allow for at least 24 hours for warranty and estimate examination, and at least 5 business days for repair. For limited time, all PDI charges are waived.
Buyer's Responsibility:
It is the responsibility of the purchaser, and not TEV Bikes to determine and comply with all federal, provincial, local laws and government regulations in regard to the purchase, possession and use of all products offered on www.tevbikes.ca. You must inspect all equipment before using it and to take full responsibility for assuring that the equipment is in good working order and safe to use. You further understand that you are responsible for damage to equipment.
Purchaser understands the nature of electric bike/scooter riding and related activities and acknowledges that Purchaser is qualified to operate said electric bike/ scooter, and is in proper physical condition to participate in such activity. Purchaser agrees to assume all risks when allowing others to operate Purchaser's electric bike/scooter.
Returns & Exchange:
Product can be returned within 7 days in New and Unused condition only for items purchased directly from TEV Bikes. 20% restocking fee will applied for all returns. Refund does not include the original shipping charge, if any.
Inherent Risks:
Electric bike/Scooter riding activities involve the risk and danger of serious bodily injury including, but not limited to, disability, paralysis, dismemberment and death. These inherent risks and dangers may be caused by Purchaser's own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others, participating or not participating in the activity, the condition in which the activity takes place, or the negligence of others. There may be additional risks, including social and economic loss, either known or unknown to Purchaser, not readily foreseeable, and Purchaser fully accepts and assumes responsibility for all such risks, losses, costs, and damages incurred as a result of Purchaser s participation in scooter riding activity.
